Fruit of the Loom – a brilliant story
Fruit of the Loom was founded in 1851 by two brothers in Rhode Island, United States. The BB and R. Knight Corporation opened its first factory and began manufacturing quality cotton garments and fabrics. In 1871 the name Fruit of the Loom was officially registered as a trademark, so it is one of the first in the world, born before the electric light bulb, the car and even the telephone!
Today, Fruit of the Loom is a global brand, providing colorful t-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear and garments for all ages.
